All Monsters Attack (1971)
Directed by Ishirō Honda
70 minutes
One of the most infamous English dubs in kaiju history, GODZILLA'S REVENGE recuts the already kid-friendly ALL MONSTERS ATTACK into a dopey, infinitely charming adventure between a young boy and his Barney-voiced lizard friend. Don't believe the anti-hype: if you've never seen this version, you're missing a crown jewel of Godzilla oddities. Screening a 35mm print courtesy of Harry Guerro.
