The Bohemian Girl (1936)
Directed by James W
70 minutes
"Laurel and Hardy found an ideal setting for their comedy in a vintage opera. This time they play gypsies who raise a girl who has been abducted–unbeknownst to them. (She is played, as a youngster, by Darla Hood of The Little Rascals .) Of course, the plot is not nearly as important as the gags, which are plentiful and involve some of the duo's usual gallery of comic costars, including the pop-eyed James Finlayson and the shrewish Mae Busch, who plays Ollie's manipulative wife." – Leonard Maltin
