The openness and non-judgement that characterized the National Sex Forum meant that the films it produced depicted not only sex acts without scripting or simulation, but also frank discussions of participants' sexual desires and experiences. Most straightforward in its treatment of these discussions is WARDELL POMEROY TAKES A SEX HISTORY, in which the titular doctor and former Alfred Kinsey collaborator interviews sexologist-in-training Janice Epp on her past relationships, sexual preferences, childhood awareness of puberty, present-day masturbation habits, and other aspects of her sexual identity. In this program, SEX HISTORY is accompanied by three more erotic portraits, each of them both candid and playful.
