SUBWAY CITY (1993)
Directed by Nick Lord & Ian Stuttard
50 minutes
"Three and a half million travelers use the New York subway system every day. Briefcase wielding city workers share their morning rides with peddlers, street musicians, the down and out, pickpockets, and drug addicts. This film explores the underground world in all its diversity, from the frenetic rush hour traffic to the eerie solitude of early morning runs. Besides those who merely use the subway as transportation, there are those who work there, those who live there, and those who commit crimes there." –ALEXANDER STREET
